One, my appointment was yesterday for 6:15 for Jaz so I ended up changing it because she didn't want to be alone so my appointment was for 3:15. Now I get to this salon 10 minutes early and Jaz WAS NOT finished with her appointment as her head wasn't completely done, and on the phone by the way!!
I found shop on web was looking to get hair wash & style for a trip next morning since my normal stylist had an emergency LaTonya was friendly & professional will definitely go back!
Had been looking for a good stylist for months. So happy that I found LaTonya! She is very professional, is a great stylist, friendly and makes my hair look and feel healthy. I highly recommend her!!
So Jaz tells me that the assistant was to wash and condition my hair, which he did but my thinking this is Jaz job not his. So onto another 2 hours, Jaz finishes up her client while I'm waiting for her, she gets on the phone again...this is by the way five minutes after 5 (when I came in at 3:00!!!). So I sit in her chair, and she proceeds with the hot comb and damn near burned my scalp more than once, I'm barely in the chair 45 minutes which I feel Jaz was rushing. When she gets done, Jaz condescending tone was and is notwithstanding. I do not need any woman who had me wait two hours for her to tell me what to do with my hair!!
Very professional atmosphere! Stylists are definitely educated on hair care. My hair is natural, Latonya braided it into a curly Mohawk using flexi-rods. My style is still beautiful after the gym! I will definitely return!
Warm family like atmosphere, you all should check it out! Clean and very professional!
No I didn't give her a tip because she didn't deserve one and trust this is the very same reason I do not visit black owned salons because of this. And finally I will not be returning
